Fundraising Events

SGOC has been actively engaging in fundraising activities with the hopes of generating enough funds to support the building of our new church and multi-purpose hall. Fundraising efforts to date are listed below:

• FOCUS August Calendar Fundraiser
• St. G Kids’ Lemonade & Snow Cone Sale: Our St. G kids led the initiative to do a lemonade and snow cone stand. Special shout out to our kid leads: Sarah, Evelyn, Aaliyah, Lexie, Asha, Ajay, Mason, Emma and Nissa.
• Summer Basketball League 2023 – MGOCSM/FOCUS hosted it’s annual in-church basketball summer league for all MGOCSM/FOCUS members, as part of fundraising for our Church Construction! A huge shoutout to Renjith Chacko, Subin Chacko, Jason Joseph, and Jestin Raju for leading this initiative.

2022

• Christmas Program & Pop-up Shop
• Sunday School Fundraiser – in the Spring of 2022, Sunday School students were asked to bring in spare change from home to help support fundraising efforts for our church construction project.  The total raised from this fundraising event was a whopping $1,070! Students were all treated with an ice cream party to celebrate their amazing accomplishment on 05/22. Congrats to our St. G Sunday School!
